Basic Knitting Class Description: In this class, you will learn the knitting skills needed in order to make knitted wire jewelry. We will start with yarn and standard knitting needles and teach you how to cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, cast off, and if time permits, how to decrease a stitch and increase a stitch. This class is necessary for the Advanced Wire Knitting, if you do not already understand the basics of knitting. Materials Provided: Yarn and Knitting Needles Cost: $45
Advanced Wire Knitting Class Description: Prerequisite – Basic Knitting Course or ability to knit. A hands on experience that will take you through the steps of applying knitting stitches to thin gauge wire to make beautiful jewelry pieces. Students will have an opportunity to apply their knitting skills to make a beaded wire-knitted bracelet or a beaded wire-knitted pendant. Materials Provided: All materials will be provided to the students. This will be an all-inclusive class. Cost: $135 |
