Citrine

Citrine

Citrine is from the quartz group with a Moh’s hardness of 7.  Most commercial citrine is heat-treated amethyst or smoky quartz.  Natural citrine is rare.  Citrine is known for many healing properties. It is thought to be good for kidney, colon, liver, gall-bladder, digestive organs, and heart tissue regeneration. Citrine is also supposed to prevent self-destructive tendencies by assisting in raising one's self-esteem, and giving cheer, hope, warmth, and energy. Citrine also attracts abundance. It is the best stone to use in matters of business, education, relationship, or family matters.
