Bryan

Bryan Tucker, Graduate Jeweler Gemologist (GIA)

Bryan received his Graduate Jeweler Gemologist (GJG) diploma in 1996 at the Santa Monica, California campus of the Gemological Institute of America. The GJG is considered the industry’s highest professional credential. He began work immediately as bench jeweler for a long established local store. Since joining Casa de Oro in 1999, Bryan has attended many jewelry seminars and training sessions to further perfect his skills at the jewelry bench. This includes mastering the latest in laser technology--if it is metal, he can probably fix it. He is a skilled wax carver and can design a piece the way you envision or create a unique item just for you. A photo gallery is available in the showroom to view many of his previous creations.

Gene and Dee Schade

Sadly, we have lost both our founders.  Dee Schade passed away December 2017, while enjoying a vacation with her husband of 50 plus years.  Gene Schade passed away in August 2018.  We love and miss them everyday and hope to carry on their long tradition of excellence.

Dee left her vice-president position and an eighteen year career in the banking industry to form Casa de Oro in 1982. She has served as President and operating officer guiding the growth from start up to the current multifaceted operation. Her dedication and high standards for customer service and integrity are responsible for the reputation for excellence enjoyed by Casa de Oro today.

Gene began an avocation of trading gold and sliver coin and bullion in the 1970’s during a 25 year banking career. This hobby was a natural lead to selling coin jewelry and dabbling in diamonds and luxury watches. In 1982 he and his wife Dee incorporated Casa de Oro, Inc. which opened as a wholesale business. After serving as President/CEO of several banks, Gene spent 16 years with an agency of the US Department of Treasury. He retired in 2007 to spend full time with Casa de Oro.
